Ready, Set, Read! @ Caledon East Branch of Caledon Public Library

Caledon Public Library, along with the Dufferin Peel Catholic Distric School Board, will offer an exciting 6 week program this summer for children in Grades 1 – 3 and their parents/caregivers.
The Ready, Set, Read Program: Continues to sustain children’s reading development over the summer months by providing access to quality authentic literature at students’ independent levels. Provides a structure for student reading, application of reading comprehension strategies and response activities.
Models and demonstrates quality Read Aloud sessions by certified teachers.
Facilitates parent support through the Parent Tool Kits and participation in the Read Aloud sessions.
Ages 5 – 8 years
This is a FREE program – advance registration is required.
