Caledon Miracle
The 9th Annual “Caledon Miracle” food drive was another huge success this year. This event marked the launch of the 2009 Caledon Santa Fund, operated each year by Caledon Community Services (CCS). Over 200 volunteers, from Royal LePage RCR Realty and students from Humberview, Mayfield and Robert F. Hall High Schools, gathered at the President’s Building at the Albion/Bolton Fairgrounds and headed out to go door-to-door for three hours, in the sub-divisions of Bolton, Caledon East, and Palgrave, collecting new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items to help needy families in the Caledon Area to celebrate Christmas. Students received 8 community service hours for their participation. What a wonderful event!
