Inglewood Day
Parades, games, beer, and sunshine - what else could you ask for, for a triumphant Inglewood Day! The day's festivities started off with a parade down McLaughlin complete with gardeners, flowers, a bee, hula dancers, a duck and the cast from the Inglewood Schoolhouse players. Paraders and onlookers alike then ventured to the tents for a scrumptious pancake breakfast. Several bands took to the stage to entertain the crowd (and beer drinkers later in the day) and activities included a dunk tank (quite popular in the heat), watermelon eating contest, egg tossing contest, and a scavenger hunt - that had participants scouring the town to answer the clues. A penny raffle and silent auction were also on hand for those interested in finding that special deal. A big thank you goes to the VIA. Thanks for the great day!
